FOUNDATIONS
FSHV have completed multiple windfarm projects for a number of valued clients including installing 50 wind turbine bases on South Kyle Windfarm, pouring over 25,000m3 of concrete and the completion of over 15 bases on Enoch Hill Windfarm, pouring over 6,500m3 of concrete.
BOLT CAGES
Construction of bolt cages to support the duct arrangement inside the shutter of the turbine base.
INSTALLATION
Installing Ducting as per the required specification using a prefabricated template.
INSTALLATION
Installing a layer of blinding at the bottom of the turbine bases using high frequency pokers and a laser level to ensure a level finished surface.
POUR
Mass pouring concrete into the turbine base using a concrete pump and a variety of skilled operatives utilising high frequency pokers to ensure the concrete sets correctly.
AND REPAIRS
Minor repairs works will take place to ensure the base is to the clients satisfaction.
